Robbins First is part of The Wesleyan Church.

We seek to know Christ and the power of His resurrection, as expressed in Philippians 3:10.

As Wesleyans, we believe God’s grace makes people new in Jesus Christ and shapes the way we love God and our neighbors.

“That I may know him,
and the power of his resurrection…”

Philippians 3:10

Our faith

What we believe

One God

We believe in one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God and Savior of the world. Through His death and resurrection, He offers forgiveness and new life to those who trust in Him.

The Bible

The Bible is God’s Word and our trustworthy authority for faith and daily life.

Grace & salvation

Salvation is God’s gift of grace. God reaches toward every person, calling us to repent, trust in Christ, and receive new life.

The Holy Spirit & holy living

The Holy Spirit works in believers, making us more like Christ and empowering lives of holiness, love, and obedience.

The Church

We gather to worship God, grow as disciples, share the gospel, love our neighbors, and serve others in Christ’s name.

Our Wesleyan heritage

Robbins First belongs to The Wesleyan Church, an evangelical church in the Arminian-Wesleyan tradition. We emphasize God’s grace offered to all, personal faith in Jesus, the authority of Scripture, and a life of holiness expressed through love and service.

This is a brief summary. The denomination’s beliefs and Articles of Religion explain the fuller doctrinal position.
